Organization Overview
Shree Sathi Nepal (FRIENDSHIP NEPAL) is a non-profit, non-religious, non-partisan and nongovernmental human rights-based organization working in different districts of Nepal with the focus to disadvantaged and marginalized group of Nepal Nepal since 2012. With the collaboration and support from government and other concern organization to develop gender friendly laws/policies/procedure and ensure the effective implementation of laws that promote gender and social justice. To aware women and girls and sensitize men about gender based violence, empower them to fight against all forms of violence and taboo beliefs to eradicate stereotypes of attitude, behaviors and practice, sensitize national and local stakeholders through policy advocacy and various program for the establishment of social justice where women, children and other minorities people enjoy equal rights, feel gender justice and prosperity.
Objectives of Organization are:
- To establish social justice and social security of Women, Girls, Children and other minorities group.
- To eliminate gender-based violence, human trafficking, discrimination; harassments; stigmatization to women, other minorities' people and children.
- To be the bridge between justice system and those women and other minorities who are in seek of justice.
- To help government with its goal of ending child marriage along with it, to educate adolescents about sexual, and reproductive health and rights.
- To organize awareness programs on dignified menstruation, promote menstrual health focusing on hygiene and management through production and distribution of environment friendly, washable and reusable sanitary pads.

Shree Sathi Nepal (FRIENDSHIP NEPAL) approach is based on organizational vision to foster supportive, protective, child-safe, child-friendly communities, where supported children and young people are engaged, respected, empowered and equipped with the necessary skills to make decisions that shape their own lives. Its goal is to improve holistic outcomes for children, girls, women and young people through rights-based programming, designed to support them. FRIENDSHIP NEPAL program has focus on empowering children to exercise their rights in a violence-free environment at home, at school and in their community, child rights, improving women’s health, particularly POP/SRHR, girls’ access to quality education, girls’ empowerment, adolescent sexual reproductive health (ASRH) rights services, improving nutrition for mothers, girls and children, reduced workloads for women and girls and increased income through agriculture and entrepreneurship.
